After Turn In

Turned it in today and here's what I have. I know there's still something wrong with it but I don't know what it is. So it's done as is.

The one above is the final version. The one below was about an hour before. I was happy with this one despite the timing issues.

Update on Day 30

Here's what I have from lab. Conrad suggests that I take out the part where he's looking into the hat after the dollar blows away. It'll cut down time and work but tomorrow/today is the final day. I'm going to have to debate over this.

Day 30 of PCC 1

Day 30, second the last day and here's my progress. It looks significantly better than the last update. I just hope that all I have to do now is just curve tweaking.

Update of Day 25

Slowed down timing. Added some things, changed a few more. I think it looks slightly better. Or at least feels a little better. Not so happy with the dollar's timing or movement in the beginning though.

Day 25 of PCC 1

Deleted some and tried to plug in the transition poses. I haven't fixed up the timing or poses for the dollar so it looks off. I need to slow things down, especially at the step after the dollar drops.

Day 22 But Update on 21

Here's what I have from last lab. That right arm bothers me with all those pops and weird timing issues.

Update on Day 21

Made some more adjustments on the right arm. Gave a little more movement during the holds but I don't know if it's too much.

Three Days after Day 18

Forgot to post this up on Friday so here it is. Didn't work on it over the weekend but at least now I can see the timing issues that are still present. I need to start blending the poses in together or have some offset movement during the holds.

I did some pose changing with the hands. I might have made things worst near the beginning. I haven't touched on the timing yet though.

Day 17 of PCC 1

It was critique day and my animation was chopped to pieces. I took out a good amount of actions and added some things in for the transitions between the remaining pieces. Now the dollar needs some timing work. Still need to fix some poses for the transitions though.

After Day 16 of PCC 1

Added in new poses. Changed the timing a bit. Still needs more work.

After Day 15 of PCC 1

Fixed up some timing and the weird gimble on the hand. Changed a little bit of the run since the foot was sliding on the lift. It's still sliding. Need to fix some of the facial animation.

After Day 14

Today is Day 15 of PCC 1. I fixed up the timing a bit during the last lab and started to work on cleaning on my curves. I've stopped trusting the euler filter and trying to fix the gimble on the left hand which the rotations make no sense at all. Time to spend some quality time cleaning up the curves today.

Day 11 of PCC 1

I forgot to work on it yesterday so I got on it today. I changed the timing and deleted some poses to get things moving with the timing. This is what I have so far and I will change more of the timing later.

Day 9 of PCC 1

I fixed some timing and added a few more poses. I still need do more work on it but this is what I have so far.

Day 8 of PCC1

Might look better, might look worst. I know something is wrong with it but I need fresh eyes to point me in the right direction. I can't see anything any more.

Day 7 of PPC1

Fixed the spine pops. Not much else I can do without critiques.

Day 6 of PCC

I changed up the timing for the hobo a little bit. I'm just wishing that I could get some critiques over break. I don't know if instructors reply to emails over break. Maybe they don't want to see anything about school for a while and work on their own freelance for the break. I don't blame them, everyone gets tired of the mass emails in the inbox.

After Day 4

Late play blast is late. This is what I have from after the lab. Timing is still off by the long shot. Especially when he stands up and when he starts running.

Day 4 of PCC1

No lab until 9pm today but I'm still in panic mode so I worked on my animation a little bit. I had critiques from Sean, Conrad and Nathan (my room mate) so I kinda just mushed them all together to fix my animation. I think I over did the twirling thing with the dollar. Anyways, I went back to stepped because linear was just over my head.

Day 3 of PCC1 Part 2

I finally got that critique from Conrad (I'm guessing he had a lot of stuff in his inbox) and I'm making some fixes here and there. I'm finally heading off into linear curves (I was starting to hate sticking around in stepped for this long). It's not that much different but the timing feels so much better. Yes, it needs a lot of work but it's still day 3. I can get it done, hopefully before I have to start packing for California for the summer break.

Day 3 of PCC1

Technically, there's no lab today but that doesn't mean there's no work. I really don't like fumbling around and crashing into things in the next official lab. Made some timing adjustments here and there so it looks slightly better. Slightly. It's in stepped now but I'm seriously thinking of heading into linear for the rest of this project. It just seems better that way.

I'm planning on working more on this later but for now, I need some critiques to get me going again. I think I fixed most of the major issues but I won't know for sure until Sean points it out or not.

Day 2 of PCC 1 Continued

Another late post. Here's what I have from the second day of PCC1. The timing is off by a long shot so I have to fix it again. I have also received critiques to have the dollar fly away faster and to make some holds to show the reaction long enough for the audience to read. By the way, this is in linear but only for timing purposes. I'll return back to step for more breakdowns when I get the timing issues ironed out.
